FORMER BOCA CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE FAVOURITES LOOSE TO RHU COLTS

A win for Rhu Colts was not out the realms of possibilities but a 4-2 would not have been on many peoples coupons on Saturday.

The Rhu management team will be delighted with that performance from his team.

GLASGOW ISLANDS PRODUCE STUNNING PERFORMANCE TO GET THE FEEL GOOD FACTOR BACK

Glasgow Island won their second game on the bounce by a convincing margin. Islands have been in concerning form over the last few months and had slipped into the relegation zone albeit with numerous games in hand to move up the division.

Lokomotiv Glasgow would have saw this fixture with Glasgow Island as a chance to stun a wounded animal.

Glasgow Islands had other idea’s and produced a performance that would stun their opponents who are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the league.

Can Glasgow Island continue to recreate the last two terrific performances when they face Glasgow Ansar in the GCFA Cup next week ?

Lokomotiv Glasgow will need to pick themselves up from this body blow as they fight to remain in the GCFA Premier League

CLYDEBANK RED STAR ADD TO GREATER GLASGOWS MISERY

Boca Championship high flyers Clydebank Red Star have added some more pain to Greater Glasgows season by knocking them out of the GCGA CUP

The Jim Harvey Cup Semi Finalists beat Greater Glasgow with a stuffy 1-0 win

Confidence was shaky for Clydebank Red Star going into this high stakes clash as their run of good league form had been halted by Busby AFC and Westhill United

Greater Glasgow will be sick of the sight of Clydebank Red Star is this is their third straight loss to them in around two months.

NETHERCRAIG’S STILL HAVE A CHANCE OF LIFTING A MAJOR TROPHY

All good runs must come to an end and thats what happened to Nethercraigs last Saturday when they came up against Rutherglen Glencairn AFC. Some would say that could be their unexpected title charge over. Your Roving reporter will sit on the fence on that one.

David Boyd’s side have got to be proud of their recent run of form that has propelled them to the higher echelons of the GCFA Premier League.

With the pressure on Boyd and his men to deliver against Woodbank on Saturday in their last chance of a domestic cup, The Nethercraigs team and the gaffer himself walked away from Glasgow Green with a big victory.

This result takes Nethercraigs deeper into the competition giving them hope of making it to the final stages of another important domestic competition.

TORYGLEN’S TITLE MARCH CONTINUES

Saturday’s Result is not a shock result by and means but the thoughts of the media were that Toryglen Thistle were on for a tough game.

In reality this should have been an extremely close encounter but Toryglen steamrolled the opposition and marched on in their pursuit of title glory.

Can someone derail the Toryglen juggernaut or will they just continue to just run through anyone who stands in their way ?

Westhill United will be the next club to stand in the way of Toryglen Thistle, let’s see how this story goes when the two clubs collide on Saturday.
