MEMBER CLUBS SHOCKED BY LEAGUE THREATENING TO PULL OUT OF MERGER AT LAST MINUTE
Just last month the Glasgow Colleges Football Association and the Scottish Premier AFA Were in talks to merge together and provide more players with opportunities to play football.
The Scottish Premier AFA and the Glasgow Colleges Football Association have agreed to merge following a marathon 51 Days of meetings.
The new league set up under the Scottish Premier AFA was scheduled to consist of all 31 current Saturday morning teams and the 41 Current Scottish Premier AFA teams.

Speaking after the meeting, GCFA chairman and life time member Donald Brooks was pleased that an agreement had been reached.

“I think it’s right that everybody took their time and made sure that we got the fine detail correct.”
He added: “Here we are in agreement and all the clubs can go forward in a positive vein now.”
SPAFA supreme leaders Joe Noon and Chris Wilson were in total agreement with Mr Brooks and all the deal needed was the paper work signed.
THE BREAKDOWN ⬇️

With a potential 72 clubs under the same banner it would take a little bit of sorting out for all the clubs to be put into leagues and everything to be set up correctly.
The SPAFA duo of Wilson and Noon were incensed by this idea branding it stupid much to the frustration of the GCFA and more importantly Brooks himself.
Wilson and Noon insisted that they use their newly purchased super computer randomiser to allocate each club a division for the new season.
Our sources confirmed the Brooks and Noon almost came to blows but had to be separated by officials of the member clubs present at the meeting.
As the dust settled on the disastrous final meeting to push the merger over the line Noon declared that Himself, Wilson and SPAFA would now be walking away from the intended merger.
Chris Wilson of SPAFA tried his best to mediate between Brooks and Noon but neither party was willing to to back down.
This breaking news is frustrating for all the parties concerned, but mostly for the clubs who have been in limbo for the last few months wondering what is going on.
Everyone concerned with the merger will be hoping Noon and Brooks can put their differences aside and come together and form a new footballing super power.

THIS IS INFACT A LITTLE APRIL FOOLS JOKE
