Footy focus GCFA Result of the week – SAT 29TH of MARCH 2025

Result of the week is back for another week after a weekend of superb football within the GCFA.

The focus this week was back on domestic action and our winners were certainly games that did not disappoint the viewing public.

RESULT OF THE WEEK

This week we have a result that really stands out to us as our result of the week.

Winner – CLYDEBANK SMFC

A fantastic result and performance from Clydebank SMFC saw them comprehensively beat DTI AFC 12-0 and progress into to the last eight of the GCFA Cup.

A very entertaining 12-0 victory for Clydebank SMFC is a result that made a lot of the GCFA teams sit up and take notice.

It was a great team performance by Clydebank SMFC who will look to really kick on in their pursuit of defending the cup they won last season.

Speaking to social media HQ after the game,

The boys were fantastic on Saturday. Despite playing a clearly depleted DTI squad we knew that we had to be focussed and ensure we went into the game with the right attitude, and Tbf to the boys they did that. We never stopped and tried to be as ruthless as we could. I have to acknowledge the issues DTI had on the day and credit to them for fulfilling the fixture they are always a class act and we know it’s rarely like that against them.
