Friday night sees our Bucks Bar Premier League Cup semi-finals take place.

First off we take a look at Corinthians vrs Park Sports Project at Kirktonhome Stadium.
We have picked out some of the standout facts heading into this exciting cup clash.
Firstly our 1st ranked GCFA club Corinthians take on 2nd Ranked Park Sports Project.
Only two points separate these club as they go head to head in the race for the Premier league title, This is not the Premier League though this is a one of knockout match up.

Park Sports Project will need to be on top form to beat the most formidable team in the GCFA at this present moment.
Corinthians v Park Sports ProjectFriday 4th April7:30 PM kick Off

PREVIOUS MEETINGS
The clubs have only met once this season on league business, look below to see how these fixtures went.
SATURDAY 24th of August 2024

Corinthians fought hard to get a 3-2 win at Ravenswood astro when the two clubs met at the start of the season.
GCFA CUP HISTORY
Corinthians have only been in the league set up for three season’s now and have never previously won the League Cup.
Park Sports Project have also never won this competition so they themselves would be giving themselves a chance to make history if they can reach the final.
INTERESTING FACT
Corinthians are looking to reach their first ever domestic Cup final in the GCFA. Corinthians are certainly showing they are a formidable force this season and should not be taken lightly.
If Corinthians win they will give themselves a fighting chance of lifting a double as the look to have success in the league and cup.
Opponents Park Sports Project are still on for the treble as they face River Nevis in the GCFA CUP when that fixture gets rearranged.
GOALS THREATS
For Park Sports Project Vlad Mendes and Alan Duncan are two boys who could cause major problems for Corinthians
THE GAFFERS
GAVIN LAWLOR – CORINTHIANS

Gavin is new to the GCFA but he has already got himself a Premier League winners medal in his trophy cabinet.
The Corinthians gaffer is on course to win a domestic double this season if he can negotiate the business end of the season the way he negotiated the start of the season
This season has also been a success for Gavin After the last campaign was such a failure.
Lawlor has been delighted to get a few of his big game players back from real long term injuries.
Gavin could really cement his name in GCFA history if he can collect another trophy.
Alan Sharp – PARK SPORTS PROJECT

Sharp is one of the GCFA’s longest serving managers over the course of his two different spells within the GCFA
If Sharp can ensure Park Sports Project manoeuvres their way into the Bucks Bar Premier League Cup Final, they will give themselves the first chance of lifting that ever illusive trophy.
The Psp gaffer Sharp has proved he has the knowledge and big game experience to negotiate ties like this. He has picked up GCFA CUP and Premier League winners medals since his return to the GCFA two years ago.
KEY PLAYERS
CLYDEBANK SMFC
Corinthians midfielders Thomas Halleran and striker John Carrick are certainly two players who stand out for their high flying club and will need to be closely watched by the opposition. Carrick has proved his worth all season long as he has provided big moments in big games for his club.
Halleran is a classy midfielder who has the qualities to hurt his opponents in many ways and is a genuine match winner, Halleran is a very intelligent player, if any chances fall to him then he could punish Park Sports Project the same way he has done to many other teams within the GCFA.
PARK SPORTS PROJECT
Jordan Kinnaird is a strong centre back who has the ability to shut out any striker in the league, He will need to be on top of his game on saturday with Murney about but would you bet against him.?
All round Utility man Jordan Grant can be a very important player for his team, If he is given time and space then his deliveries into the box and his late runs could cause his opponents major issues.

ROVING REPORTERS PREDICTION

I think both teams are very similarly matched and have quality all over the park. Its such a tough tie to predict and i wouldn’t be surprised if this went all the way to penalty kicks.
This game could go either way so it could now come down to who makes the first mistake in the game.
