Its that time of week again and we look at this weeks player of the week.

This weeks GCFA PLAYER OF WEEK selection was a difficult one as always but we had to pick one

This weeks footy focus GCFA PLAYER OF THE WEEK

McNicol scored five goals in the premier League encounter with Lokomotiv Glasgow at the Weekend.

The penalty box predator helped his club to three points and a good home victory to push his club up the league table.

The striker not only scored five goals but his performance throughout the game was such a bonus for his manager. Archie never gave the Lokomotiv defence any time to settle into the game.

On a day when Glasgow Islands really needed their players to show up Archie stamped his authority on the game with a clinical display of finishing.

We caught up with his gaffer Murdo and he said “ Archie was just unstoppable today, I actually felt sorry for the Lokomotiv defenders as Archie was just magnificent.

Five goals for Archie today making it thirty five in all competitions its just a fantastic return from a player who just knows how to find the back of the net.

Our season has been up and down but Archie finding the net has been out one consistent part of the campaign so far. We still have plenty to play for and knowing Archie he will be target 50 goals in all competitions this season.
