A fitting tribute for a top man
On Sunday Premiership side Pollokshields United took on the much fancied Todholm at New Western Park in Renfrew

Over the last month or so Assistant manager and former player Toddy has been missing in the dugout as he has been taking care of his father Arthur who has been unwell.
Unfortunately for the Todd family Arthur passed away at the start of the week and devastated Toddy and his family.

Pollokshields are a family club so when one person is going through a difficult situation the heartache id felt by the club as a whole.
We contacted Pollokshields for a comment
‘Everyone at the football club send their love to Toddy and his family.
‘We ask that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with this sudden and unexpected loss in their family.’
At the game on Sunday the Pollokshields players and management team paid tribute to Todd’s late father Arthur ⬇️

No doubt the assistant manager will be grateful for his teams tribute to his late father.

On the park Pollokshields produced a scintillating performance and beat the much fancied Todholm Afc
The Southside team started the game on the front foot and really went for the opposition from minute one.

A much needed victory against a quality side was a fitting tribute to Arthur Todd who was amazing a man who ment the world to a lot of people.
Manager Nim Roy and his team dedicated their victory to Arthur Todd.
