POLLOKSHIELDS MASTERCLASS SENDS THEM INTO DREAM LAND

ONE BIG RESULT

Lots of games to choose from this week with plenty of domestic dust ups but the big games in our fixture calendar were arguably from the West District Cup

One result stood out to us above most others on Sunday and this was a standout result for the team and their further progression in the West District Cup

Im not sure the Roving Reporter or anyone to be honest saw a result like this one coming.

Pollokshields United produced a stunning performance on Sunday which left Irvine Rangers absolutely shocked and out of the competition.

A superb performance from Pollokshields United saw them score a last minute winner to knock Irvine Rangers out of the West Cup Competition.

THE BIG ONE

The Roving Reporter watched this game in awe as it was such a good game of football to watch. The game had Absolutely everything in it, goals galore, penalties given and not given, you name it this game had it.

Pollokshields got their name into the draw for the next round of the competition but credit must go to Irvine Rangers who were excellent on the day and unlucky to loose with the last kick of the ball.

A spirited display by Pollokshields ensured they got a result after falling behind to an early Irvine Rangers goal.

Everyone connected with Pollokshields United are absolutely buzzing with the result and are hoping this can kick off further progression in the tournament.
