1st round of any cup is always exciting as lower league teams look to have the shock of the round against higher level teams,
With top 4 clubs getting bye we also have an exciting Premier league super Sunday to report on.

Premiership super Sunday
Our Roving reporter took in the top of the league clash at New Western Park with Todholm facing Maryhill Milan in a clash that could go a long way to decide who will be the main title contenders along with Castlemilk Community.

GDSFC Champions cup Rd1
Round 1
Luckily the most attractive cup tie kicked off at 4pm at Park villa hub where Championship title contenders Fairfield Ams face a Premiership Pollokshields high on confidence after superb result v Todholm last Sunday.
A highly competitive fixture went finally to premiership Pollokshields 3-2 after Fairfield Ams got back to 2-2 after been 2 nil down.
On way from Premiership super Sunday fixture at New western park our roving reporters took in first half of Fordbank v Fairhill Athletico at Renfrew sports center before getting to Park Villa hub for 4pm kick off.
Fordbank took lead early in 1st half but like Pollokshields, Athletico got ahead 2-1 by half time so roving reporters left and appears missed a cracking ending with Athletico need 2 goals in injury time to win tie 3-2

“Exciting to see who is drawn v who. All teams in cup so all teams can draw each other – hopefully can see some cup shocks in there
Good draw and some tasty ties in there. Draw of round for me Fairfield v Pollokshields Utd. But also some that could create cup shocks. Look forward to 26th now”
